Courtroom dramas are usually tense… but what happens when both the lawyers are named Jolly and have personalities that can out-argue a pressure cooker’s whistle? Answer: The judge’s BP shoots up faster than Sensex on budget day.
The teaser kicks off with the judge (already looking like he skipped his morning chai) asking Advocate Jagdish Tyagi if his anger is under control. Spoiler: It’s not. Before the audience can digest that, we meet the other Jolly — Jagdishwar Mishra — who tries to introduce himself politely… only to be dismissed like a cricket fan asking for free IPL tickets.
From there, the courtroom turns into a WWE tag team — except here the weapons are sarcasm and ego. The judge, clearly regretting every life choice that led him here, watches as the two Jollys bicker like cousins at a wedding buffet. At one point, one of them casually suggests the judge should take a deep breath and even offers to call a vaidya. If eyes could throw chappals, this judge would’ve been arrested for assault.
By the end, the judge gives up on dignity altogether and announces that both Jollys are here just to ruin his life. And that’s how we, the audience, know… September 19th is going to be less about justice, more about comedy chaos, as Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi turn the courtroom into a laughter riot.
Verdict on the teaser? Objection sustained — because this is exactly the kind of madcap legal drama we signed up for. 🏛😂
