Question: Why can’t bike manufacturers make one perfect bike? Something that has power, speed, road presence and comfort—especially for the pillion. Every time I look for a daily commute bike that I can also ride with family or my partner, there’s always a compromise.”
Answer: I feel you, truly. And you’re not alone. This is a question that echoes across every office parking lot and every college canteen. ☕🛵
I personally think that the bike world today feels like a buffet with missing plates.
You either get the mileage monster—great for your wallet but flat on thrill…
Or the racing rocket—which gives you speed but treats your pillion like luggage on a rack 🎒
Then there are cruisers—gorgeous and comfy, but not always practical for our daily lives or tight traffic. 🚦
So why don’t manufacturers give us one balanced bike?
Simple answer? Because the market is stuck in categories, not real-life use cases.
They’re designing for “segments”—commuter, sport, touring—not for people like you and me who live in-between those lines. People who want everything in one ride.
But here’s where it gets real:
That “perfect bike” is not a myth. It can be built. Manufacturers have the tech, the design minds, and the resources.
What’s missing?
📢 Listening. Listening to stories, not just statistics. Listening to dreams, not just demographics.
Imagine this…
- A bike with decent torque to feel alive on highways 🌬️
- A relaxed riding stance so your back thanks you
- A long, comfy seat for your partner to smile, not squirm 😊
- Good looks to make heads turn at a red light 💥
- And mileage that doesn’t make your monthly budget cry 💸
Sounds dreamy? It’s possible. It just needs heart in the design process.
So maybe, just maybe… the next time someone from the bike industry asks what we want, we need to say:
“Don’t build a bike for a segment. Build one for our life. Our hustle. Our love. Our ride.” ❤️🏍️
Because we’re not just buying machines.
We’re investing in memories on two wheels. 🌄
